Who I Am

As a student studying communications and journalism, I have an internship with the Grand Forks Herald. In this internship, I am writing about five stories every week and learning about how to disseminate the news appropriately.

I also intern at UND Today, a professional campus blog with the university’s Communication department. I have written four stories and taken many photos while in this position.

I have another on-campus job at UND Career Services, where I am a Career Mentor. I assist students with writing and editing professional documents, like resumes, cover letters and personal statements, as well as with practice interviewing.

After graduation, I hope to be a journalist for a newspaper or a magazine. I am also considering attending law school.
